There's no single best crypto trading bot. There's the one that fits your strategy, your budget, the exchanges you use, and how much setup you're willing to take on. A grid trader on one exchange and a signal follower trading perps on a decentralized exchange are going to want very different tools.
Below, we cover 10 of the most widely used platforms in 2026: what each one does, how it charges, where it connects, and where it falls short.
The right bot depends on your strategy, budget, exchange, and experience level. No platform fits everyone.
Bot platforms charge in a few different ways: monthly subscriptions, exchange trading fees, per-trade fees, or pay-per-bot. Which one costs less depends on how many bots you run and how often they trade.
The platform price isn't your only cost. Exchange fees, futures funding rates, and slippage sit on top.
Most bots marketed as "AI" follow rules you set. No bot can guarantee a profit.
The bot market shifted this year. 3Commas shut down its original platform in September 2026 and moved users to a new version built with WunderTrading.
How Did We Compare?
There's a conflict of interest here: AstraBit wrote this, and we're listed as one of the 10 bots below. You should know that before you read a single recommendation. And you should expect the same disclosure from any "best bots" list you read.
Here's what we did to keep the comparison fair:
- Every platform answers the same six questions. How is it priced? What bots does it offer? Which exchanges does it connect to? Who holds your funds? How easy is it to get started? Who is it built for?
- We used their numbers, not ours. Competitor pricing and features come from each company's own pricing or help pages wherever we could load them. Where we couldn't, we name the third-party source we used.
- Everyone gets pros and cons. That includes AstraBit.
- We don't publish returns or win rates. Bot performance depends on settings, market conditions, and timing. A single return figure without that context doesn't tell you much.
We're not going to promise you profits or tell you one platform beats all the others.

"Not listed" means we didn't find it on the pages we checked. It doesn't mean the platform can't do it.
Terms you'll see below
- DCA (dollar-cost averaging) bot: buys in steps as price moves, so your entry is spread across several prices instead of one.
- Grid bot: places a ladder of buy and sell orders across a price range and trades the swings between them.
- Signal bot: places trades automatically when a signal arrives, such as a TradingView alert, a webhook, or a signal provider.
- Copy trading: mirrors another trader's trades in your own account.
- API key: a set of permissions you create on your exchange so a bot can place trades for you. You can, and should, turn off withdrawals on it.
- Non-custodial: the platform never holds your funds. Your money stays in your own exchange account or wallet.
Let's Look at the Platforms, One by One
1. AstraBit (publisher)
Best for: Traders who'd rather pay for bots that are actually trading, and who want centralized and decentralized exchanges in one dashboard.
| At a glance | |
| How you pay | Per bot, per day, in AstraBit credits (1 credit = $1). No subscription |
| Starting price | ~$10/month for a Basic bot (0.33 credits/day) |
| When billing starts | After a bot's first trade |
| Bot features | DCA, signal execution, copy trading, Master Trader signals, connect your own strategies (Standard and up), hedging (Advanced), TradingView, webhooks |
| Exchanges | ApeX Omni, Binance, BingX, Bitget, Bybit, Hyperliquid, Kraken, KuCoin, OKX, WooFi Pro |
| Who holds your funds | Funds stay in your exchange account, never on AstraBit. |
| Verification | KYC at signup |
Since it's our blog, we'll go first. But keep the disclosure in mind.
AstraBit is built around a simple idea: you shouldn't be locked into any subscriptions. Each bot has its own daily rate, and billing for that bot doesn't start until it makes its first trade. After that, you're charged daily based on each bot’s daily rate. Creating an account and building a bot is free. When you're done with a bot, you delete it, and the charges for that bot stop. (AstraBit pricing)
How The Tiers Work
You choose a tier for each bot, not for your whole account. That means one bot can run on Basic while another runs on Advanced, and you only pay the higher rate where you actually need the extra controls.
| Bot tier | Daily rate | Roughly per month | What you get |
| Basic | 0.33 credits | ~$10 | Any supported exchange, fixed or % stop loss, up to 2 take-profit levels, up to 4 DCA steps, copy trading, signals from strategies and Master Traders |
| Standard | 0.66 credits | ~$20 | Everything in Basic, plus leverage, trailing stop loss, up to 5 TP levels and 8 DCA steps, one-click manual trading, connect your own strategies, interactive chart |
| Advanced | 1.33 credits | ~$40 | Everything in Standard, plus hedging, up to 10 TP levels and 15 DCA steps, AstraBit stop loss, send signals to any bot, religious law settings, fully interactive chart |
| Nexus | (not yet available) | n/a | In development: unlimited trade triggers, a central command bot, a Master Trader bot |
Rates can vary with discounts. AstraBit also runs a Freemium loyalty program: depending on your trading volume, your bot's daily rate may be reduced. Note that AstraBit has a conflict of interest here. The exchange commission credits that fund this program are tied to your trading activity, so AstraBit benefits when you trade more on participating exchanges.
Here's how that plays out. Two Basic bots cost about $20 a month combined. A third bot you've set up but haven't switched on costs nothing until it trades. If you only trade during certain market conditions, you aren't paying for the weeks your bots sit idle.
Centralized and Decentralized Exchanges in One Place
AstraBit connects to centralized exchanges like Binance, BingX, Bitget, Bybit, , Kraken, KuCoin, and OKX, and to decentralized venues like Hyperliquid, ApeX Omni, and WooFi Pro. (AstraBit pricing)
That matters if your trading is split across both. Plenty of traders keep spot holdings on a centralized exchange and trade perpetual futures on a decentralized one. With AstraBit, both run through the same bots, risk settings, and dashboard, so you aren't juggling two tools with two different setups.
Exchange availability depends on where you live, so check that a venue is open to you before connecting it.
Grid Strategies, Without a Native Grid Bot
AstraBit doesn't have a built-in grid bot like Bitsgap, Pionex, or 3Commas do. That doesn't mean you can't trade a grid strategy.
If you've built a grid strategy in TradingView, you can send its alerts to an AstraBit bot and have it execute the trades.
The same goes for a grid strategy you've coded yourself, in any programming language: as long as it sends signals, an AstraBit bot can act on them. Connecting your own strategies is included on Standard and Advanced bots.
The trade-off is that you bring the grid logic yourself. If you want a grid bot that works out of the box with preset ranges, a native grid platform will be quicker to set up.
Your Funds Stay With You
AstraBit is non-custodial. Bots connect to your exchange through execution-only API keys, which allow trading but not withdrawals. Your balance stays in your own exchange account the whole time, and you can revoke a key from the exchange side whenever you want. (AstraBit pricing)
Verified Users, and The Company Behind AstraBit
AstraBit verifies users through KYC (know your customer) at signup. It takes a few extra minutes, and it means everyone on the platform has gone through identity verification.
AstraBit's securities offerings through AstraBlox are conducted through CPT Capital LLC, an SEC-registered broker-dealer and FINRA member. finra.org The trading bot software itself is separate: it is not a broker-dealer service and isn't regulated by the SEC or FINRA. The digital assets you trade with it aren't covered by SIPC or FDIC protections.
| Pros | Cons |
| No subscription; pay per bot, per day | No native grid bot (grid strategies require TradingView or your own code) |
| Billing starts only after a bot's first trade | 10 supported exchanges, fewer than some platforms |
| Free account creation and bot setup | Leverage, trailing stops, own-strategy connections, and hedging need Standard or Advanced bots |
| Centralized and decentralized exchanges, incl. Hyperliquid and ApeX Omni | Per-bot billing adds up if you run many bots |
| Non-custodial, execution-only API keys | Nexus tier is still in development |
| Copy trading and signal execution at every tier | KYC adds a step at signup |
| Freemium program may reduce bot costs based on trading volume (see conflict-of-interest note) | No backtesting or paper trading listed on the pricing page |
Some platforms here are built around preset grid bots and backtesting. AstraBit is built around flexibility: pay-as-you-go pricing with no locked-in subscription, and one dashboard that connects both centralized and decentralized exchanges. If that’s how you trade, AstraBit is a strong fit.
2. 3Commas
Best for: Traders who want DCA, signal, and grid bots under one subscription.
| At a glance | |
| How you pay | Monthly or annual subscription |
| Plans | Starter $15/$20, Pro $38/$50, Expert $105/$140 per month |
| Bots | DCA, Signal, Grid |
| Exchanges | 9 |
| Free option | Trial; demo account on all plans |
3Commas is one of the longest-running names in bot trading, and 2026 was a big year for it. The original platform (v1) was shut down on September 11, 2026, and users moved to a new v2 platform built in partnership with WunderTrading. Strategies and exchange API keys didn't carry over automatically, so v1 users had to create a new account and rebuild their bots. Hyperliquid integration is listed among v2's new features. (3Commas Help Center)
On current pricing, Starter includes 5 DCA, 2 Signal, and 2 Grid bots on spot markets with 1 active exchange connection. Pro raises that to 20 DCA, 20 Signal, and 10 Grid bots, adds futures, and allows 5 active connections. Expert goes up to 1,000 of each with 25 connections and developer API access. All plans include a demo account, webhook execution, and Pine Script execution. The lower number in each price pair reflects annual billing. (3Commas pricing)
| Pros | Cons |
| Established brand with DCA, signal, and grid bots | Subscription billed whether bots trade or not |
| Demo account, webhooks, and Pine Script on all plans | Starter is spot only, with 1 active exchange connection |
| Very high bot limits on Expert | v1 strategies had to be rebuilt manually on v2 |
3. Pionex
Best for: Traders who want built-in bots without a separate subscription and are comfortable using one exchange.
| At a glance | |
| How you pay | Exchange trading fees; bots are free |
| Trading fee | 0.05% (global); Pionex US lists 0.1% maker, 0.5% taker |
| Bots | Spot Grid, Futures Grid, DCA, Rebalancing, Infinity Grid, Arbitrage, Smart Trade |
| Exchanges | Pionex only |
Pionex works differently from the rest of this list. It's an exchange with bots built in, rather than a bot platform that connects to exchanges. Its help center says bots, including Spot Grid, Futures Grid, DCA, and Rebalancing, are free to use (Pionex).
Instead of a subscription, you pay trading fees: 0.05% on its global app (Google Play), or 0.1% maker and 0.5% taker on Pionex US (Pionex US). Because your funds sit on Pionex itself, there's no API key to set up, but you also can't point its bots at another exchange.
| Pros | Cons |
| No bot subscription | Bots only run on Pionex's own exchange |
| Many built-in strategies, including grid and arbitrage | Your funds are held on Pionex |
| No API key setup | US fees are higher than the global rate |
4. Cryptohopper
Best for: Traders who want to design, test, and buy strategies.
| At a glance | |
| How you pay | Monthly or annual subscription |
| Plans | Explorer $29, Adventurer $69, Hero $129 per month (about 17% less annually) |
| Bots | Trading, Copy, Manual, Market Making, Exchange and Triangular Arbitrage |
| Free option | 3-day Explorer trial |
Cryptohopper is built around strategy creation. Explorer covers 15 coins, 80 open positions per exchange, backtesting, paper trading, and a visual Strategy Designer. Adventurer raises those limits and adds extra DCA features. Hero adds AI strategies, market making, and arbitrage tools. Prices exclude VAT. (Cryptohopper pricing)
It also runs a marketplace where users can buy ready-made strategies and signals, which can shorten setup for newer traders.
| Pros | Cons |
| Backtesting and paper trading built in | Subscription required after the trial |
| Visual Strategy Designer and marketplace | Coin and position limits by tier |
| Arbitrage and market making on Hero | Most advanced features are top-tier only |
5. Bitsgap
Best for: Grid traders who want many grid and DCA variations.
| At a glance | |
| How you pay | Monthly or annual subscription |
| Plans | Basic $23/$29, Advanced $55/$69, Pro $119/$149 per month |
| Bots | Grid, BTD, COMBO, DCA (spot and futures), LOOP, QFL, Dual Currency Profit |
| Exchanges | 17 |
| Free option | Free plan (Evedex COMBO and demo bots); 7-day PRO trial, no card |
Bitsgap is one of the more grid-focused platforms on this list. Beyond standard grid bots, it offers several variations, including BTD (buy the dip), COMBO, LOOP, and QFL bots, plus DCA for spot and futures. (Bitsgap pricing)
Basic includes 3 Grid and 10 DCA bots. Advanced adds futures bots and raises limits to 10 Grid and 50 DCA. Pro goes to 50 Grid and 250 DCA. Every plan supports 17 exchanges, and the PRO trial doesn't require a credit card.
| Pros | Cons |
| Wide range of grid and DCA bots | Subscription-based |
| 17 exchanges | Futures bots start at Advanced |
| Free trial, no credit card | Free plan limited to Evedex and demo use |
6. Coinrule
Best for: Beginners who want to build their own rules without code.
| At a glance | |
| How you pay | Monthly subscription |
| Plans | Starter free; Investor $29.99, Trader $59.99, Fund $749 per month |
| Approach | "If this, then that" rules with templates |
| Exchanges | Binance, Kraken, Coinbase, and others |
Coinrule lets you build strategies from pre-made rule templates without writing code. You set a condition, such as a price move or indicator level, and an action, such as buy or sell. It includes paper trading and TradingView integration. (Coinrule pricing)
| Pros | Cons |
| Free Starter plan | Subscription needed for higher limits |
| No-code templates | Top tier is priced for funds and institutions |
| Paper trading and TradingView integration | Centralized exchanges only. |
7. Cornix
Best for: Traders who follow signal providers and want those signals executed automatically.
| At a glance | |
| How you pay | Subscription (about 33% less billed annually) |
| Plans | Advanced $32.99/month, Premium $52.99/month (billed annually); Asset Manager from $99.90; Community Admin from $146.90 |
| Bots | Signal, DCA, Grid, TradingView |
| Free option | 14-day Premium trial, no payment details |
Cornix is built around signal following, with DCA, grid, and TradingView bots on your own exchange accounts. Advanced includes 3 Signal bots and 5 each of Grid, DCA, and TradingView bots, with 50 backtests a month. Premium makes those bots unlimited and raises backtests to 250. (Cornix pricing)
It also offers plans for asset managers and for communities that want to run white-labeled trading groups, which sets it apart from most retail-focused platforms here.
| Pros | Cons |
| Built around signal automation | Listed prices are for annual billing |
| Unlimited bots on Premium | Supported exchanges aren't named on the pricing page |
| 14-day trial without payment details | API slots limited by plan (2 or 3) |
8. HaasOnline
Best for: Experienced traders who want scripting, deep backtesting, or to run the software on their own hardware.
| At a glance | |
| How you pay | Subscription; 40% off with annual crypto payment |
| Plans | Starter $11.99, Standard $29.99, Pro $59.99, TradeServer $149.99 per month (annual crypto pricing) |
| Bots | Trade bots, copy bots, prebuilt bots, HaasScript custom strategies |
| Exchanges | 24 |
| Free option | 7-day Standard trial, no card |
HaasOnline has been around for years and is aimed at traders who want control over how their bots work. Its HaasScript language lets you write custom strategies, and plans range from 3 trade bots on Starter to 20 on Pro, with 1 to 12 months of backtesting history. TradeServer runs on your own hardware or a managed private instance. (HaasOnline pricing)
The prices above assume a full year paid upfront in crypto. Monthly card pricing is higher, for example, $49.99 for Standard.
| Pros | Cons |
| 24 exchanges | Steeper learning curve |
| Scripting and deep backtesting | Lowest prices need a year paid upfront in crypto |
| Self-hosting option | Annual crypto plans aren't refundable |
9. WunderTrading
Best for: Traders who want TradingView signals, DCA, and grid bots with a free tier that doesn't expire.
| At a glance | |

The free plan includes 1 Signal, 1 DCA, and 1 Grid bot, and paid plans scale up to 300 DCA and 200 Grid bots on Premium. On Hyperliquid, WunderTrading offers Premium tools with no subscription and charges a 0.035% builder fee per trade instead. | Lifetime free plan | Pricing display varies by region |
| TradingView signal, DCA, and grid bots | Market Neutral bots are demo-only below Premium |
| Hyperliquid support with per-trade pricing | Features are spread across several tiers |
10. TradeSanta
Best for: Beginners who want simple grid and DCA templates.
| At a glance | |
| How you pay | Subscription |
| Plans | Basic $25 (49 bots), Advanced $45 (99 bots), Maximum (unlimited bots) per month |
| Bots | Grid, DCA, long and short strategies |
| Free option | Free plan with 1 bot |
TradeSanta keeps things simple, with grid and DCA templates and long or short strategies you can launch without much configuration. Its help center lists Basic at $25/month and Advanced at $45/month, with Maximum offering unlimited bots (TradeSanta).
Maximum appears as $70 in TradeSanta's help center and $90 in a 2026 ComparEdge review, which also notes a free plan with 1 bot. Check TradeSanta's site for the current figure.

| Free plan available | Fewer advanced tools than some platforms |
What "AI Trading Bot" Usually Means
A lot of platforms use the word "AI." In practice, most crypto bots, including DCA, grid, signal, and copy bots, run on fixed instructions: when this happens, do that. Buy more if price falls 3%. Take profit at a set target. Stop out below a set level.
Fixed rules have real advantages. You know what the bot will do, and you can trace every trade back to a setting. They don't adapt on their own. A rule-based bot keeps following its instructions through breaking news, sudden volatility, or a sharp drop, unless you've built protections like a stop-loss into the strategy.
Some platforms do use adaptive models that adjust to new data. If a product says "AI," it's fair to ask exactly what that feature does and how it's been tested.
Can a Bot Make Money On Its Own?
A bot is an execution tool. It can place trades around the clock, follow your plan without hesitation, and react faster than you can by hand. That's useful.
What it can't do is make a strategy better than it already is. If a strategy loses money when you trade it by hand, automating it usually means losing money more efficiently. Any platform or person promising a fixed monthly return from a bot is making a promise no one can keep.
Four Ways Bot Platforms Charge
How a platform charges affects your costs as much as the sticker price does. Here are the models on this list:
- Monthly subscription. You pay a flat fee for a plan with set bot limits, whether your bots trade or not. Used by 3Commas, Cryptohopper, Bitsgap, Coinrule, Cornix, HaasOnline, WunderTrading, and TradeSanta. This tends to make sense if you run a lot of bots continuously.
- Trading fees only. The bots are free, and the platform earns through exchange fees. Pionex works this way, and you trade on its exchange.
- Per-trade fee. WunderTrading's Hyperliquid option charges a small fee on each trade instead of a subscription.
- Pay per bot, per day. AstraBit charges a daily rate for each bot, starting only once that bot trades. This tends to suit traders running a handful of bots, or bots that only run part of the time.
Many subscription platforms also offer a free tier or trial, usually with one or a few bots, demo-only access, or 3 to 14 days before billing starts.
Whichever model you choose, budget for costs outside the platform: exchange trading fees, funding rates on futures, and slippage (the difference between the price you expected and the price you got).
Not All Platforms Are Made Equal
- New to bots: look for templates and guardrails. Coinrule, TradeSanta, and Cryptohopper's marketplace are designed for that. AstraBit's Basic tier covers DCA, algorithmic, and copy trading at about $10 a month per bot, and setup is free.
- Signal providers: AstraBit (signal execution and Master Traders), Cornix, and WunderTrading focus on signals.
- Running preset grid bots: Pionex, Bitsgap, 3Commas, WunderTrading, Cornix, and TradeSanta have native grid bots.
- Running your own grid or custom strategy: AstraBit (via TradingView, webhooks, or your own code), HaasOnline (HaasScript), and 3Commas or WunderTrading (webhooks) can execute strategies you've built.
- Trading on decentralized exchanges: AstraBit supports Hyperliquid, ApeX Omni, and WooFi Pro alongside centralized exchanges. WunderTrading and 3Commas v2 also list Hyperliquid.
- Building and testing your own strategies: HaasOnline and Cryptohopper go deepest on scripting and backtesting.
- Avoiding charges for idle bots: AstraBit bills a bot only once it makes its first trade, then it charges a daily rate. Pionex charges through trading fees instead.
A Pre-Launch Checklist
Before you switch on your first bot, wherever you run it:
- Test first. Use paper trading or a demo account if the platform has one. If it doesn't, start with an amount you're prepared to lose.
- Lock down your API keys. Turn off withdrawals and give the key only the permissions it needs to trade.
- Add up every cost. Include platform fees, exchange fees, funding rates, and slippage.
- Set your exits. Decide on stop-loss and take-profit levels before the bot goes live, not after.
- Check in regularly. Markets change, and settings that worked last month may not fit this month.
- Scale gradually. A few good weeks isn't a reason to put in more than you can afford to lose.
None of this removes risk. It helps keep surprises smaller.
FAQs
What's the best crypto trading bot in 2026?
It depends on how you trade. A grid trader, a signal follower, and a DCA investor will likely end up on different platforms. Start with your strategy and exchange, then find the platform that fits.
Can a trading bot make me money?
A bot executes your strategy consistently and without emotion. It can't guarantee a profit, and it can lose money just like manual trading.
Are there free crypto trading bots?
Yes, with trade-offs. Pionex bots are free, but you pay trading fees on its exchange. WunderTrading, Coinrule, Bitsgap, and TradeSanta have limited free tiers. AstraBit's setup is free, and you only pay a bot's daily rate once it trades.
Can a trading bot withdraw my money?
Not if you use execution-only API keys with withdrawals turned off. Exchange-native bots like Pionex work differently, because your funds are already held on that exchange.
Do trading bots work on decentralized exchanges?
Some do. AstraBit supports Hyperliquid, ApeX Omni, and WooFi Pro, as well as centralized exchanges. WunderTrading and 3Commas v2 also list Hyperliquid.
Does AstraBit have grid bots?
AstraBit doesn't have a native grid bot. You can run a grid strategy on AstraBit by sending signals from a TradingView strategy or from a strategy you've coded yourself. Connecting your own strategies is available on Standard and Advanced bots.
Try AstraBit
If pay-per-bot pricing and one dashboard for centralized and decentralized exchanges fit the way you trade, getting started costs nothing. Connect an exchange, build a bot, and you won't be charged until it makes its first trade.
Methodology and Notices
Methodology.
We compared all 10 platforms on six factors: pricing model, bot types, exchange connections, custody, ease of use, and intended user. Data comes from each company's public pricing or help pages as of October 2026. For Coinrule, WunderTrading (USD figures), and TradeSanta (top tier), we also used third-party sources, cited inline. We didn't run performance tests or publish returns, and none of the companies listed reviewed this article. Prices and features change often, so check each provider's site before deciding.
Publisher disclosure.
AstraBit publishes this article and is one of the platforms compared. We encourage you to do your own research and compare independently.
Conflict of interest: exchange credits.
AstraBit earns commissions from participating exchanges based on user trading volume through AstraBit referral links. A portion of those commissions may be applied as credits toward users' bot charges. This creates a financial incentive for AstraBit to encourage trading activity and to favor exchanges that pay commissions. This applies to AstraBit's Freemium program described above.
Risk disclosure.
Digital asset and cryptocurrency trading is highly speculative, involves significant risk of loss, and may not be suitable for all traders. Trading bots automate the rules you set; they do not guarantee profits or prevent losses. Leverage and futures trading increase risk, and losses can exceed what you expect. Past performance and hypothetical or back-tested results do not guarantee future results.
Regulatory disclosure.
Securities offerings through AstraBlox are conducted through CPT Capital LLC, member FINRA/SIPC. AstraBit's trading bot software is a separate software service and is not a broker-dealer service regulated by the SEC or FINRA. Digital assets traded through the bot are not covered by SIPC or FDIC protections and may be subject to limited or evolving regulatory oversight.
