AstraBit Is the Software, Not the Exchange

Three parties are involved every time a bot trades. Knowing who does what makes it clear where your money is and who to ask when something needs fixing.

The Exchange

Holds your funds, runs the market and fills your orders. It decides who can open an account and which products they can trade.

You

Own the exchange account, create the API key and choose the strategy, position size and risk settings your bot follows.

AstraBit

Sends orders to the exchange through your API key, following the rules you set. It can trade but can’t withdraw or transfer your funds.

Open and Fund Your Exchange Account
Pick an exchange you’re eligible for and move funds into the account the bot will trade from, such as the futures or perpetuals wallet.
Create an API Key
Turn on reading and trading permissions. Leave withdrawals and transfers off.
Connect It in AstraBit
Add the key in the Nexus dashboard, then pick a strategy from the Marketplace or bring your own.

Check That You Can Use an Exchange Before You Sign Up

AstraBit is software. It is not an exchange, it doesn’t hold your funds, and it doesn’t decide who can open an exchange account. Each exchange sets its own rules on who can sign up and which products they can trade.

Most exchanges on this page are not available to U.S. persons. Kraken is the supported exchange open to many U.S. residents; Kraken determines eligibility for its margin trading product. ApeX Omni, Binance, BingX, Bitget, Bybit, Hyperliquid, KuCoin, OKX, and WOOFi Pro are not available to U.S. persons under those exchanges’ own terms.

AstraBit earns a commission from participating exchanges based on trading volume from users who sign up through AstraBit referral links, and may apply a portion as credits to your account. This creates a financial interest in the exchanges listed here. You are not required to use AstraBit’s referral links.

Which exchanges can I use AstraBit trading bots on?

AstraBit supports 10 exchanges. Three are decentralized exchanges (ApeX Omni, Hyperliquid and WOOFi Pro) and seven are centralized exchanges (Binance, BingX, Bitget, Bybit, Kraken, KuCoin and OKX).

Can I use AstraBit in the United States?

AstraBit is a U.S.-based company, but most of the exchanges it connects to are not available to U.S. persons under those exchanges’ own terms. Kraken is the supported exchange open to many U.S. residents; Kraken determines who qualifies for its margin trading product.

ApeX Omni, Binance, BingX, Bitget, Bybit, Hyperliquid, KuCoin, OKX, and WOOFi Pro are not available to U.S. persons. If you have questions about your specific situation, speak with a qualified legal or financial adviser.

Does AstraBit hold my funds?

No. Your funds stay in your account on the exchange. AstraBit connects with an API key that can read your account and place trades. Withdrawal and transfer permissions stay off, so AstraBit can’t move money out of your account.

What’s the difference between a DEX and a CEX?

A centralized exchange (CEX) like Binance or Kraken is run by a company that holds customer funds and verifies identities. A decentralized exchange (DEX) like Hyperliquid runs on a blockchain, and you trade from an account tied to your own wallet. AstraBit connects to both through API keys and never connects to your wallet directly.
