Connect ApeX Omni to AstraBit
Link your ApeX Omni account to AstraBit with API keys so the two platforms can communicate securely — wallet connection, account creation, funding, API setup, and where everything goes in AstraBit. Eight steps, start to finish.

Before You Begin
What to Know First
ApeX Omni is a decentralized, multi-chain venue — a few things to have ready before you start.
You’ll Need a Web3 Wallet
Connect with a Web3 wallet like MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Rabby, or Rainbow — see ApeX Omni for the full list. AstraBit does not endorse any particular wallet.
USDT + Gas
You’ll deposit USDT on a supported network (this guide uses Arbitrum, which needs a little ETH for gas). First time using USDT on ApeX? You’ll sign an extra Enable USDT transaction with a small gas fee.
Four Credentials, Shown Once
AstraBit needs your Account ID, API Key, API Passphrase, and API Secret Key. Your Omni Key and parts of your API are only shown once — keep them private and never share them.
Funds Live in Perpetuals
Deposited funds land in your Funding Account — they must be transferred to your Perpetuals Account before AstraBit can trade with them.

Start to Finish
Connect your wallet, create and fund your ApeX Omni account, generate your API, and connect it in AstraBit.
Required ApeX Omni Setup
- Funds location: Perpetuals Account, not Funding
- Contract Type in AstraBit: USDT Futures – Omni
- Credentials: Account ID, API Key, Passphrase, Secret Key + Omni Key
Position and Margin stay on Auto Sync by default in AstraBit.
Connect Your Wallet to ApeX Omni
- Navigate to omni.apex.exchange.
- Click Log in or Connect Wallet.
- Log in via email, or by connecting your wallet.
Create Your ApeX Omni Account
To finalize your account, you’ll sign a few messages — these open in your Web3 wallet, and none require gas fees:
- First signature verifies wallet ownership.
- Second signature ensures wallet compatibility.
- Third signature creates your account on ApeX Omni.
Make sure your wallet’s network matches the selected network on ApeX Omni.
Deposit Funds onto ApeX Omni
- ApeX Omni is multi-chain — select from the networks ApeX supports. This example uses Arbitrum (you’ll need ETH on Arbitrum for gas).
- You will need USDT — ApeX offers a swap if you need to convert other assets.
- Click Deposit.
- Input the amount of USDT to deposit.
- Confirm the transaction in your wallet (small gas fee applies).
- Your deposit arrives in the time determined by the network you used.
First time using USDT on ApeX? You’ll be asked to sign an Enable USDT transaction so ApeX Omni can access your USDT — an additional step with a small gas fee.
Fund Your Perpetuals Account
- Click Transfer and select From Funding Account to Perpetuals Account.
- Confirm the amount and click Confirm Transfer.
- A transaction opens in your wallet — pay the small gas fee.
- After confirmation, your funds will appear.
Open API Management
- Click your account profile picture in the top right — you’ll see your funds in the Perpetual account.
- Click API Management.
Generate & Copy Your API Information
- You will need the Omni Key — then click Generate API.
- Copy your Account ID, API Key, API Passphrase, and API Secret Key (aka API Private Key).
- Click Confirm and your API will be created.
Your Omni Key and certain parts of your API are only shown once. Keep this information private and do NOT share it with anyone.
Connect Your ApeX Omni API to AstraBit
- Navigate to the API Manager in your AstraBit account.
- Click Create API (or Connect New API if you have others).
- Select ApeX Omni.
- Fill in the details:
- Name: anything you like
- Contract Type: USDT Futures – Omni
- Position / Margin: Auto Sync by default
- Remaining fields: paste from your ApeX API and Omni Key creation
- Click Save/Connect.
Confirm Your API Connection
- Once saved and successful, you’ll see the new API added to your list of APIs.

Security Reminder
Your Keys, Your Funds
API permissions strictly limit what AstraBit can do with your ApeX Omni account.
Cannot Withdraw
AstraBit cannot withdraw funds from your account. Ever.
Cannot Transfer
AstraBit cannot transfer funds between accounts or wallets.
Trades Only
AstraBit only executes trades via the API permissions you grant.
